Since 2006, over $90,000 in endowment contributions have been raised to support the Simon Fraser University Lacrosse Program, through the establishment of the SFU Lacrosse Endowment Fund and the Christian Friesen Memorial Fund. To date, the interest earned on these endowments has helped to fund more than $21,500 in scholarships for SFU Lacrosse student-athletes.

Red Leafs Welcome Back Past Alumni To Celebrate With Current Team and Graduating Seniors at Annual SFU Men’s Lacrosse Alumni & Awards Social

The Simon Fraser University men’s lacrosse program will hold its Annual SFU Men’s Lacrosse Alumni & Awards Social on Saturday, February 1st at the SFU Diamond Alumni Centre. The event will serve to celebrate Red Leaf graduating seniors, team award winners and MCLA/PNCLL league honours recipients from 2024.

The evening will begin with a red carpet and cocktail reception at 6:00pm. The awards program will start at 7:00pm with award winners announced throughout the evening by way of a series of short video presentations. Stand-up hors d’oeuvres will be served through the evening with an accompaniment of food stations and cocktail cash bar.

Prize Raffle:  Raffle tickets will be available for purchase (5 for $10.00) with the purchaser able to select the raffle item of their choice to enter to win with each ticket. Grand Prize tickets will be available for purchase prior to the event (Cash or Card) and all other raffle prizes tickets will be sold at the event. (Cash Only)

Alumni Scarves: SFU Men’s Lacrosse Alumni will be able to proudly identify themselves with the purchase of a limited edition SFU Lacrosse Alumni Scarf. The custom acrylic knit, North American made scarves will be available for purchase for $20.00 to be worn throughout the evening, as well as at future Alumni events and home games. Alumni that sign-up or are registered under a monthly giving program will receive a complimentary Alumni scarf at check-in. (Cash or Credit Card)
